Nope, doesn't look like you have been competitive to me in the least bit. How many of those made it out of Region? Anyone? Who did Tommy Walker beat in basketball from the LPD this season?

They beat Coeburn 3 times in boys basketball this past season.. Don't know who the other 2 were.
5-0 against the LPD in boys basketball isn't something to write home about

I was talking to a gentleman at work that went to the game and he said Gate City didn't look to good ! Had 3 real hits and the rest were errors and fly balls that should have been caught. He said you could not get a real feel for how well we would be on defense because of to few chances.He said it is still early but still might be a long,long season. He said it was very cold !!!!

Funny man, let's see, in the past few years they have won back to back girls bball district titles, qualified for the region tourney in volleyball, won several district track titles, boys and girls, won 5 consecutive girls cross country district titles and 10 consecutive boys titles, and a couple region titles as well in both. We beat Coeburn at their place, our place, and on a neutral court. We also beat Pound and Appalachia on their homecourts. If you want to be a smart [censored] about it TW's girls tennis team was state runner up in 2000 or 2001. Last time I checked, GC is the only region team to win a state title in the last 5 or 6 years so tell me son, what has your school been so great at?? Kelly won a girls state title 4 years ago.
Yeah, sorry champ20 just informed me that Kelly had won girls bball and golf. All I'm sayin is just because TW hasn't won a state title, or gotten far past regions, doesn't mean they're not competitive. Last time PV won a state title in football was when JJ was there, but now I'd say they've been pretty competive since he left [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif[/img]
2 Region titles in the past 3 years? A state runner up as well. Kelly had a couple state baseball runner ups as well, 01and02 I think.
Theys a lot more success than you realize, your fighting a losing battle, be proud of where your from and what they have done.
